I have been blessed to share some of my favourite experiences with a camera with my good pals Anthony Lynch and Ian Carruthers over the years, but it will be very hard to top this! After our first two chases ended up being busts, it was third time lucky last Thursday night / Friday morning. Chasing a storm in Ireland is hard, but when it happens its special. We talk you through the highs and lows and answer your questions on all things storm chasing. Enjoy!!
I was absolutely delighted Mr Mourne Mountain himself agreed to come on the podcast. This pod could have went on all day and night, Alistair is not just a super photographer but he's also a super person to talk photography with. We spoke about his nights alone under the stars at the Giants Causeway, his adventures hiking and photographing around the Mourne Mountains and about the stunning clouds he shot recently in the Morunes and he tells us what first came to his head when he seen them!! This is an episode not to be missed.
Myself and my good pal, Ian Carruthers had a bit of down time last week so we decided to record what was supposed to be a short bonus podcast. Instead it turned into an hour long chat all about Ian's experiences storm chasing in the U.S, rare weather events and apps and websites we use to plan our landscape and astro shoots.
I was delighted to sit down and chat with one of my favourite landscape photographer, Daniel Gastager on this episode. Daniel tells us why he loves Ireland and cant wait to return, talks us through some of editing workshop, what his favourite tool in photoshop his and tells us where Jaden Sancho will play his football next year... You heard it here first!!!
I was delighted to welcome landscape astrophotographer Alyn Wallace as my guest on my very first podcast. Alyn talks to me about his experiences of shooting the night sky and gives his thoughts on the Starlink Constellation and what it means for shooting the night sky in the future!
